This position is for the 2024-2025 school year with weekly compensation up to $50/hr, based on experience.Job Description
As a Special Education Teacher, you will:

• Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs.
• Provide engaging and adaptive lessons to foster student growth in academic, social, and emotional development.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ success.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
• Advocate for an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Education and Certification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Valid Texas Special Education Teaching Certification.
• Previous experience working with children with special needs is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
