• Provide individualized instruction and support to students with life skills needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create a supportive learning environment.
• Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions to promote student engagement and success.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional methods as needed.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Pennsylvania state certification in Special Education.
• Endorsement or certification in Life Skills Support preferred.
• Previous experience working with students with life skills needs is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
