Work under the general supervision of the principal and the immediate direction of an educational diagnostician or speech/language pathologist.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Education/Certification:
Special Knowledge/Skills:Ability to use the computer proficiently for word processing, email, and spreadsheets.Ability to work well with children with disabilitiesAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsEffective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsMinimum Experience:Experience working with children/students, parents, or persons with disabilitiesExperience in a clerical positionMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSBILITIES:Directly supervises none.WORKING CONDITIONS:Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Must maintain emotional control and exercise reasoning and problem solving skills while under stress. Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written). Should be able to interpret procedures and analyze data for decision-making. Frequent in-district and occasional in-state or national travel.
