Description: Overview:Alera Group is looking for a SQL Developer to join our Vital Incite team.Alera Group was founded in 2017 and has grown to become the 15th largest broker of US business. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service. Responsibilities:

• Use TSQL to develop and maintain database structure, stored procedures, and data to support our custom logic.
• Address data issues by querying the database to determine how the data exists and the reason it is not being properly represented in our systems or what is causing it to not process correctly through our custom logic.
• Debug stored procedures and dynamic SQL to correct issues with logic or identify the cause of failures. Determine the appropriate solution to the issue, implement the correction, and verify the solution is working correctly.
• Manage tickets in a timely manner based on prioritization to support the business needs for accurate data reporting.
• Maintain and support Vital Incite’s proprietary data mapping process to ingest data files directly into Vital Incite warehouse.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:4+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server database development.Proficient in T-SQL, including stored procedures, views, functions, indexes, and scheduled jobs.Skilled with SQL Management Studio and Visual Studio; experienced in debugging and data analysis.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal).Team player who also works effectively independently; flexible, proactive, and collaborative.Able to positively engage with both internal teams and external clients/customers.Familiarity with healthcare claims data and a strong commitment to Vital Incite’s mission and service excellence. Additional Information:This job is fully remote.
