Description: Overview :Our Annapolis, MD based client, has an immediate opening for a Mid- Level SQL Developer. In this role, you will be joining a team of developers assigned to projects with new release cycles and O&M of existing code. The majority of the environment is internal custom applications and requires a strong developer with a team mentality to work with the Business Analyst, Project Manager, and Web Developer to complete assigned projects.Come join this outgoing, family-oriented organization, where every day is a new challenge! This contract to hire position is 100% ONSITE IN ANNAPOLIS, and offers an on-site cafeteria, free parking, and a 35-hour workweek. Responsibilities :Design and implement BI solutionsTurn business needs into technical plansBuild and deploy reporting toolsMaintain and support data analytics platformsDevelop data storage tools (e.g., OLAP cubes)Perform testing and troubleshoot issuesImprove existing BI systemsWork with teams to integrate systemsRun database queries and analyze dataCreate visual reports for projectsWrite and update technical documentation Qualifications :Experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist * Knowledge of data warehousing and data miningStrong understanding of databases, OLAP, and ETL processesFamiliarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Oracle BI)Proficiency in SQL, SSRS, and SSISAbility to take initiative and think innovativelyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills * Per our client contract, candidates must be US Citizens
