This role will partner across multiple internal and external teams, identifying retail issues and opportunities and leading local marketing support to drive retail sales and market share for the ORV division. This role will also collaborate with and support Polaris dealers to build and execute local marketing plans in order to meet or exceed market objectives. The Senior Associate Marketing Manager will be assigned to specific market(s) and region(s) as the OEM marketing representative. This role will be required to have an in depth understanding of root cause, key business issues, and options for impact in the areas assigned. The Retail Experience Senior Associate Marketing Manager will work regularly across all levels of internal and external stakeholders – driving alignment and execution across local marketing strategies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Partner with dealers as the dedicated Polaris marketing representative in assigned markets to plan, execute, and support local marketing activations aligned to market objectives – 50%Collect key market data to analyze market dynamics and identify risks and opportunities.Serve as the business expert for assigned markets with a thorough understanding of market trends, geographies, consumers, and dealer networks.Parter directly with local field sales teams and dealerships to develop and execute market activations.Make recommendations to attack risks and opportunities based on data and cross-functional insights and grow market share in assigned markets.Serve as the retail marketing expert for the region(s) assigned: partner with field sales teams to provide relevant marketing support – 20%Provide support to field sales team and key dealer accounts for OEM marketing programs and assets.Communicate key marketing milestones within assigned sales regions including sales events, program changes, and local market support.Utilize feedback and opportunities to driven efficiency in OEM marketing programs through partnership with cross functional teams to attack key business issues.Define Key Market initiatives: strategic development, planning, and measurement. – 20%Lead strategic development across cross functional teams to build plans towards key business issues and opportunities.Manage development of key market planning with cross functional team members across field sales, product line sales, PG&A, brand experience, owner experience, events, and training teams.Manage key performance indicators and measurement tools to track progress of key market initiatives. Provide recommendations on tactics or adjustments needed to achieve business results.Project coordinator: Serve as the retail marketing specialist for cross-functional alignment within ORVMT– 10%Develop programs and processes to improve local marketing activation with appropriate internal and external partnersAdvise on regional and segment level opportunities based on real-time business performance of assigned regionsOrganize feedback and requests from business leadership to ensure support from necessary teamsLead cross-functional discussion and execution to ensure goal achievement and efficiencySKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:SkillsAbility to build and facilitate relationships across all levels of dealership stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple tasks within fast-paced encironmentStrong organizational skills to track deliverables and timingStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient in managing data, reporting, and business summaries within MS Office ToolsEducation / Experience4 Year Degree in Marketing or equivalent field3-5 Years of relevant marketing, sales, and/or project management experienceExperience in directly supporting dealership environments is requiredExperience in managing relationships and deliverables across multiple stakeholdersStrong understanding of B2B and B2C retail environmentsWORKING CONDITIONS:Fast-paced, dynamic culture in an office environment.Based out of Bass Creek Plymouth office or remote in an approved marketSome travel to other Polaris sites and Dealers as needed (up to 25%).The pay range for Minnesota is $82,000 to $102,000 per year.
