As a Senior Data Scientist on the Strategic Analytic team, you’ll build industry-leading analytics, data, and technology platforms to help reimagine health care. You will play a critical role within a cross-functional team, delivering powerful solutions that inform executives and business leaders strategy and design, optimize internal systems, improve engagement, develop new provider offerings, enhance consumer experience, and unlock value for the organization.You will be part of a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative team. By leveraging innovations in data science, machine & deep learning, and predictive modeling techniques, you’ll help solve problems, drive impact, and deliver key insights to our customers. You will derive meaning from data and deploy robust solutions through provider-directed engagement channels (e.g., digital) that help consumers identify affordable care, when they need it, and with whom.Some of your key responsibilities will include:– Developing data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data that help generate insights and address reporting needs– Collecting and aggregating operational data from multiple data sources to identify trends, interdependencies, root causes, and insights– Developing, validating, and executing algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns, and recommend solutions– Utilizing data visualization best practices to answer complex questions by preparing and building analyses which can be presented to partners in a way that iseasily understood– Developing analytics in a way that they can be replicated and run in a routine manner– Creating and evaluating the data needs of assigned projects and assures the integrity of the data– Exploring existing data and recommending additional sources of data for improvements– Documenting projects including business objectives, data gathering and processing, detailed set of results, and analytical metricsRequired Qualifications
– 4 years of relevant programming or analytic experience
– At least 2 years of experience in Python and SQL– At least 1 year of experience with machine learningPreferred Qualifications
– Working knowledge of health care industry products
and operations
– Experience conducting data analysis in healthcare
settings– Extensive knowledge of AI tool and Machine Learning MethodologyEducation
– Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline
– Equivalent Combination of education and experience may be consideredAnticipated Weekly Hours 40Time Type Full timePay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$101,970.00 – $203,940.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
