The mission of Project Kuiper’s Government Solutions (KGS) is to leverage Kuiper and provide high speed, low latency, and secure satellite broadband services to United States and international government customers.We have an immediate opening for a Product Manager-Tech to support the Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS) team focusing on Inventory and Fulfillment Technology. In this role, you will lead the development of forward and reverse logistics for the Kuiper Government Solution (KGS) Operations team to meet global fulfillment capability needs. You will lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions that optimize inventory management, global network architecture, system integration, and operational planning. Your expertise in advanced supply chain technologies, combined with strong analytical skills and a customer-focused approach, will drive efficiency improvements, cost reductions, and elevate the overall fulfillment experience for Kuiper’s global government customers. This role will work with Business Development, Programs, Product, and Commercial teams to deliver processes needed for KGS to drive logistics in the most effective manner. This role will help lay the foundation for the KGS business to rapidly scale. You will work in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and must be comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams.The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence while maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, and reliability in logistics functions across KGS needs. The Candidate must have strong business judgment, ability to dive deep into data, comfort working with business and technical teams on scoping, developing, and delivering scaled solutions for multi-faceted products. Candidates must be able to multi-task on different product logistic initiatives while establishing controls and reporting mechanisms to validate inventory valuation, aging, and write-off thresholds in compliance with Amazon corporate accounting policies. The best candidates will have deep understanding the Government business and aerospace while also being able to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.Key job responsibilities
Security Clearance: This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance of TS/SCI.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS– 7+ years in supply chain, product/program management, marketing, business development, or technology, with a track record of leading large-scale logistics projects.
– 7+ years combining supply chain, product, and program management, driving strategic initiatives for process improvement and operational efficiency.
– Basic understanding of international trade regulations and impact on global logistics operations
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Familiarity with DFARS 252.211-7007, IUID labeling, and government asset tracking protocols
– Familiarity with use of automated systems such as warehouse management systems, barcoding, and RFID to track inventory movement and ensure data integrity across the supply chain.
– Proven ability in building product logistic roadmaps, overseeing end-to-end product delivery, and managing product lifecycles while balancing requirements, user needs, and technical constraints
– Proven cross-functional communication skills to leverage tech and non-tech requirements to support business needs
– Experience managing large scale, successful projects
– Experience in both US and global operations
