As part of the company’s Government Affairs organization, the successful candidate will develop close working relationships with DoD customers in Honolulu to represent Lockheed Martin programs and initiatives. Customers include U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, U.S. Pacific Fleet, Pacific Air Forces, U.S. Army Pacific, Marine Corps Forces Pacific, Space Force Indo-Pacific, and Special Operations Command Pacific. With strong knowledge of the customers’ operating environment, priorities, and challenges, the successful candidate ensure that Lockheed Martin programs and initiatives are aligned to customer needs.This position reports to the Director, Honolulu Office, Lockheed Martin Government Affairs and is based in Honolulu, Hawaii.What’s In It For You:

  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and DoD’s strategy and priorities in the Indo-Pacific region.
  • Knowledge of Joint and Service Warfighting Concepts
  • General knowledge of Lockheed Martin products.
  • Understand DoD and Congressional budget processes.
  • Understand the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System and Joint Requirements Oversight Council processes.
  • Strong executive presence and proven ability to work with senior executive and government officials.
  • Strategic thinking, innovative mindset, and sound judgment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to work on a collaborative team and bridge organizational boundaries.
  • Secret Clearance

Desired skills

  • 20 plus years of service in the U.S. military
  • Operational command experience
  • Joint Fires experience
  • Joint All Domain Command and Control experience
