Description: Job Description: Onsite Oakland CAWere seeking a strategic and execution-focused Sr. Marketing Specialist (Contractor) to support initiatives for our Small Business marketing team. This role will help build, execute, and manage critical broker- and GA-facing programs, while also supporting the creation of insightful, data-driven content.Candidate must prepare/provide: * An example of a multi-channel marketing campaign they led. What were your objectives, how did you measure success, and what were the results?

  • This role requires interpreting audience insights and campaign data to guide content and strategy. Can you describe a time when data significantly influenced your marketing approach or messaging?

Skills/Experience:

  • Develops and implements comprehensive marketing strategies to drive awareness, influence, and education towards the value of dental insurance for small businesses
  • Analyzes trends, intended audience insights to inform marketing strategy and decision-making
  • Sets marketing goals and KPIs aligned with overall objectives
  • Leads and manages multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, social media, email) from concept through execution
  • Oversees project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure efficient and effective use of marketing assets
  • Measures campaign performance and adjust tactics to optimize results and mission outcomes
  • Maintains brand guidelines and ensure alignment across projects
  • Develops and oversees creation of marketing content, including blogs, website copy, email newsletters, social media posts, and collateral materials
  • Works with creative team members to ensure high-quality design and compelling copy that aligns with Delta Dental standards
  • Leads and mentors, other marketing specialists and cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments
  • Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years in marketing, communications, or strategic program support
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional marketing efforts
  • Familiar with survey tools, reporting dashboards, and campaign planning
  • Comfortable interpreting data and working with creative teams to bring insights to life

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or B2B programs

Degree Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s or higher

Ability to pass Background, Drug Screen and if applicable Medical (i.e. Vision, Hearing, or Physical) if Required by Client.
