Teachers will be paid at their hourly rate. ( 4 hours daily)MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS REQUIRED:EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree and hold appropriate Indiana certification.Summer school programming for IREAD remediation must be taught by a teacher, instructor, or tutor who is trained in science of
reading, meaning the instructor must have completed at least 25 hours from the
and be working toward earning the EarlyLiteracy Endorsement if required for their license renewal after June 30, 2027.GENERAL FUNCTIONS/PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The primary functions of the teacher is to plan, guide, and evaluate the learning process of the students for whom they are responsible within the framework of the school organization and curriculum.
• Able to work effectively with a wide range of students; able to work effectively with the staff and administration; effectively communicate with other staff, administration, students, parents and community; familiar with and applies appropriate reading instruction.
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
• Demonstrates thorough lesson preparation using a variety of methods and materials.

• Provides for individual differences in students.
• Employs positive motivational techniques.
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of subject matter.
