Description: Job Description:OverviewFull Time PositionMonday-Friday8:00am – 5:00pmIf assigned to government accounts: Coordinates billing and collection of Medicare, TriCare, Medicaid and Medicaid HMO to ensure maximum reimbursement. Monitors credit balances and variances to ensure they are resolved in a timely manager. If assigned to non-government accounts: Coordinates billing and collection of third-party payers to ensure maximum reimbursement. Monitors credit balances and variances to ensure they are resolved in a timely manager. Monitors self-pay to ensure PFS is meeting or exceeding the customer experience. Monitor attorney interaction to make certain request for information is reviewed and resolved in a timely manner.
QualificationsRequired Education: High School Diploma or GEDPreferred Education: Prefer a two-year degreeRequired Licensure/Certifications: N/APreferred Licensure/Certifications: N/ARequired Experience: 1-2 years Healthcare experiencePreferred Experience: 4 years hospital billing and collection experience preferably in Medicare and Medicaid and 2 years supervisory experience.Necessary Skills:1. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication for interaction with all levels of the hospital2. Goal oriented and self-directed3.
