The Title I Student Support Interventionist (Truancy/Attendance) will collect, disaggregate, and analyze relevant data and monitor on-going student progress. The Title I Student Support Interventionist (Truancy/Attendance) will also work with staff and parents in providing appropriate supports that promote student regular attendance for academic, social-emotional and post-secondary success.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:Regularly collect, disaggregate and analyze Early Warning System data.Demonstrate willingness to assume leadership responsibility.Oversees truancy / attendance process for students identified at-risk.Builds programming to support students at-risk for attendance.Collaborate with student support staff regarding student supports and programming.Assist with the creation and implementation of incentive programs for students to attend school more regularly.Meet and regularly communicate with students and families.Collaborate and communicate with staff as needed.Facilitate attendance groups for students with chronic attendance concerns.Collaborate with outside organizations/community partners who can assist with supporting students with chronic attendance concerns.Participate in Student Support Meetings.Display strong leadership, oral, writing, and interpersonal skills.Develop and maintain a confidential, collegial relationship with teachers, families and students.Attend professional development and connection to agencies and organizations as needed.
