Description: LC State invites applications for the position of Web Coordinator.Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: $52,000 – $55,000Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree in web design/development, communications/marketing, or related field from a regionally accredited college or university.Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in website content management through a CMS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in organizing, conceptualizing, and prioritizing objectives and managing a high volume of projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a marketing/communications or web development office.
  • Experience working in higher ed.
  • Experience in webpage layout, graphic design, photo editing, and collection management.
  • ADA compliance experience
  • Experience with Google Analytics, SEO optimization, social media, and/or using website quality assurance software.
  • Master’s degree in web design/development, communications/marketing, or related field.
  • Aptitude and desire to continue professional development in web and/or marketing fields.

Responsibilities:Under the direction of the department director and Lead Web Coordinator, the Web Coordinator will help produce, edit, and coordinate Lewis-Clark State College’s campuswide website content needs using a content management system; provide support to offices across campus; develop and write copy for publication on the web; and support marketing strategies and campaigns as needed.
Additional duties include direct and indirect activities to support recruitment and retention of students.1. Develop and edit web pages using a content management system, ensuring compliance with college standards, industry standards, and best practices.
2. Work with all departments to produce and maintain their website content.
3. Coordinate web content production schedules to ensure projects and assignments are delivered in a timely manner.
4. Support marketing strategies and initiatives, including the development of key marketing landing and top-level pages.
5. Edit, manage, and organize web content assets such as graphics, photos, video, and text to ensure it remains relevant, current, consistent, and accessible.
6. Support college and department social media strategies and execution.
7. Ensure appropriate metadata is maintained for the content.
8. Contribute to and implement Search Engine Optimization strategies.
9. Support the implementation of website quality assurance software, including ADA compliance.
10. Identify new content strategies and opportunities as well as necessary content changes or updates based on research, feedback, and organizational goals.
11. Participate in groups/committees related to web-based technologies and marketing strategies.
12. Participate in the development and review of web standards.
