• Schedule Notes:Flexible on full-time vs. part time, must work US. hours.
• This role will be 100% remote in the US.
• There’s potential for this to extend or become a full-time placement.

Duties:

• We are seeking a talented and experienced Contract Web Designer to collaborate with our software product management team on a project basis.
• In this role, you will be responsible for designing and enhancing the user experience of our internal web applications.
• While our product managers will handle the user research, you will rely on their insights and feedback to create intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centered designs.
• This position requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and a solid understanding of design best practices.
• **An online portfolio showcasing their work is required and must be included in the resume submitting**

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design & Prototyping:
• Create user-centered designs by synthesizing business requirements and provided research insights.
• Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs align with product goals and user needs.
• Participate in cross-functional discussions to refine design ideas and gather ongoing feedback.

Design Validation & Iteration:

• Iterate on designs based on feedback from product managers and internal stakeholders.
• Incorporate provided research results and usability findings to refine and improve design solutions.

Documentation:

• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of design processes, design decisions, and overall project progress.
• Ensure design files are organized and easily accessible for team members.

Experience:

• 3-5 years in UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence and problem-solving skills.

Skills:

• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
• Strong grasp of user-centered design principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and basic front-end development concepts is beneficial.

Attributes:

• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Empathetic toward users and passionate about solving user challenges.
• Proactive and self-motivated, able to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
