Description: DescriptionSummary & Position OverviewThe Web Developer I is responsible for coding server-side components for all web applications. All work must conform to INSP standards for quality and in accordance with documented business requirements. The developer must work within our cross-functional team environment and complete all duties within an agile project environment.Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into software solutions consistent with INSP standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to all web applications.
• Participate in daily scrum sessions and collaborative team meetings.
• Support new project estimation and planning activities from management.
• Stay abreast of new and emerging development technologies.

RequirementsJob RequirementsEducation:

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in Computer Science or commensurate work experience.

Experience:

• 3+ years writing PHP and MySQL database applications within the WordPress environment.
• 2+ years of experience with HTML5, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and JQuery technologies.
• Experience developing applications within an Agile (Scrum) project methodology.

Skills/Abilities:

• Strong communication and organizational skills with an innovative thought process.
• Able to take direction with flexibility to work independently when required,
• Maintain focus on stated business goals and objectives.

Management

• This position reports to the Director of Digital Media Development

ScheduleNormal workday is 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, with rotating after hour technical support.
