Description: SolarWinds, a leader in IT management software, is looking for a Web Marketing Analyst. This role will support the Marketing organization by conducting and presenting analyses across SolarWinds’ web properties. Primary responsibilities will include setting up dashboards to help monitor and improve marketing, sales, and general business performance, and working with the Web Marketing team to conceptualize, implement, and interpret web tests to optimize conversion and other key behaviors. Problem-solving and resourcefulness are key qualities, as support aspects involve troubleshooting data disparities within complex systems and researching data across multiple channels, geographies, and products. All reports and analyses must be delivered on time and accurately to key stakeholders within the organization.Your Impact:

  • Develop and deliver dashboards with detailed monthly and quarterly results summaries to the management team
  • Perform ad hoc analyses of websites and/or online marketing channels
  • Partner with marketing teams to track daily, weekly, and monthly business performance against goals and provide trend analysis against prior periods
  • Develop and refine performance reports to monitor marketing campaigns and activities, and communicate trends and anomalies to teams
  • Work directly with marketing leadership to creatively solve key business issues, and identify and maximize hidden opportunities
  • Provide ad hoc and “deep” analysis, synthesize recommendations, and present results
  • Translate results of complex analytic problems into actionable recommendations or strategies
  • Develop scalable reporting of marketing ROI, analyze trends, and make recommendations
  • Work with the Web Marketing team to define, set, and interpret A/B and multivariate webpage tests

Your Experience

  • Familiarity with web testing and analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics, Optimizely, and Google Analytics
  • Experience with A/B, multivariate, and other web testing and optimization practices

Hands-on web analytics experience for diagnosing issues, identifying opportunities, and evaluating performance * Basic knowledge of database architecture and querying (Microsoft SQL), experience with data visualization software (Tableau), or familiarity with online marketing channels (SEO, PPC) is a plus

  • Familiarity with marketing ROI methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to present data, analyses, and insights in a clear and logical manner
  • Intellectual agility and a sense of urgency

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing or web analytics
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and basic graphing features) and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree with analytics coursework (Finance, Statistics, etc.)
  • An advanced degree is preferable
